New Camera!!

So i gave in and bought a new camera. I wanted one that I can take everywhere with me because i'm in Hawaii and I don't want to miss out on any photo opportunities. The camera is a cannon powershot d10. it's a waterproof one and that's mainly why i got it. But the more i've used it the more i love it! It takes amazing pictures! Here are some of the ones I took last week.

Stairway To Heaven

I celebrated Presidents Day by going on one of the coolest hikes on the island. It's called the Stairway to Heaven and it consists of 3,922 steps that go straight up the mountain side to a peak overlook of 2,800 feet! It took us about 1 1/2 hours to get up to the top and it was freezing cold up there! The wind was blowing really hard, but it was all worth it because we made it up to the top for the sunrise. It really did feel like we were sitting in Heaven looking down on the islandthis is when the light first came up over the horizon
